Bio
Folasade is a research fellow at the Hasso Plattner Institute, university of Cape Town. Her research interests span human computer interaction, education, and ICT4D, with a focus on advancing equitable and quality education in under-resourced contexts. Her work centers on the design of context-sensitive digital learning systems. Currently developing frameworks for sustainable learning ecosystems in African universities, including integrating learners’ perspectives into the design of AI-enabled learning systems. She has been involved with AfriCHI conference since 2023. At AfriCHI 2027, she brings both her research and practice perspectives and looks forward to collaborating and learning with the community.
